Wynn and Smithson named MWC Players of the Week

Utah quarterback Jordan Wynn and receiver Shaky Smithson were named MWC Players of the Week for their efforts in the 68-27 win over Iowa State. Wynn was the Offensive Player of the Week after going 23-of-31 for 325 yards and two touchdowns as the Utes scored more points on the Cyclones than any other team has in Ames. Smithson was the Special Teams Player of the Week for returning five punts for 145 yards, including one of 78 yards. He also had a 61-yard touchdown catch and threw a 32-yard touchdown pass.
