While Brian Johnson, the former quarterback turned coach, can help Jordan Wynn prepare for situations and give him pointers on how to handle the atmosphere and so forth Saturday, he can also give him a players' perspective of TCU's defense since he played against it in 2008. Johnson led the Utes on an 80-yard scoring drive in the closing minutes to beat TCU 13-10. "Scheme-wise they haven't changed," Johnson said. "Coach (Gary) Patterson has done a great job if implementing that defense and they do a great job running it." The one player Johnson remembers the most is safety Tejay Johnson, a three-year starter who recently was named one of the semifinalists for the Jim Thorpe Award, which goes to the nation's top defensive back. "Almost everyone else is gone," Johnson said. "But he is playing the same position and he is a good player, but they've got a bunch of talented players."
