Hello from Notre Dame Stadium, where the Notre Dame band is on the field and the weather is going from mildly bad to worse. The rain is really coming down now just 20 minutes before kickoff. Couple thoughts on the game. Key for me is to see how well Utah's secondary holds up, particularly Conroy Black. The TCU Horned Frogs picked on him last week. He needs to play much better today. I also expect the Utes to try to put together some kind of pass rush too to bother the freshman quarterback. The Utes are without Junior Tui'one (calf muscle), so look for Derrick Shelby to lead the rush. Of course everyone will want to see how Jordan Wynn responds too. He says he is over the TCU loss and his performance then, but actions speak louder than words, right? Notre Dame gives up 228.6 yards a game through the air and 164.6 on the ground. Let's see if the Utes put the ball in Wynn's hands to get the job done.
