Utah coach Kyle Whittingham described the senior class as a "hard working group who are committed to the Utes' program 100 percent." The group, 18-players strong, is the winningest senior class in school history with a 41-9 record including three bowl wins.Thought I'd give a list and a note about the players who will be recognized Saturday before kickoff.Neli A'asa - A utility player of sorts, A'asa has played on both the offensive and defensive line and started at tight end at Iowa State.Matt Asiata, RB - Running back has split duties with Eddie Wide after the NCAA granted him another year. Saturday's game at BYU will only be his second after he missed two rivalry games with injuries.Jereme Brooks, WR - Leads Utah with 47 receptions and is second with 556 receiving yards and four touchdown catches.Daniel Bukarau, OL - Hasn't played in the last four games.Terrance Cain, QB - Started against UNLV and New Mexico and is 9-1 as a starter, his 183.94 pass efficiency rating would leave the MWC if he had the minimum games played.Lamar Chapman, DB - Corner ranks third on the team in total tackles (54) and ranks fifth in the league in sacks (5.5).Brad Clifford, TE - Has six catches for 79 yards and has missed six games with a shoulder injuryChristian Cox, DL - The right end leads the linemen with 48 tackles while his four sacks ties him for seventh in the conference.Chad Manis, LB - Former QB has 40 tackles and a pass breakup in nine games of work.Joe Phillips, K - Former walk-on is 11-of-12 in field goals this year and leads the MWC in field goal percentage (91.7).Caleb Schlauderaff, OL - Leads the Utes with an 88 percent grade, winning 506 of his 576 total plays.Shaky Smithson, WR - Leads the nation in punt return yards (570) and is second in punt return average (21.1).Justin Taplin-Ross, S - Has 46 tackles and two interceptions this year.Zane Taylor, OL - One of the best leaders on the team, he had a 95 percent grade against New Mexico, the best by a Ute this yearJunior Tui'one, DL - Has missed three games with a calf injury, has 13 tackles this year.Walter Watts, OL - Has played in six games this year.Eddie Wide, RB - His 11 rushing touchdowns are tied for the fourth-best single season total in school history. Kamaron Yancy, DB - Hasn't played in the last two games, has three tackles on the year.
