Tom Woodbury, who has a regular cooking spot on ABC Channel 4's "Good Things Utah," was in Canada recently filming a pilot for a new national cooking show.

According to this story in the Hallifax Herald Chronicle, the pilot is being shot by Ocean Entertainment, which has produced several award-winning cooking shows including "French Food at Home" and "Chef at Large." Producers plan to pitch Woodbury's show to The Cooking Channel later this month.

Woodbury's program would focus on the "science of cooking." He worked in a commercial kitchen before getting his day job in computer sales. He is married with one daughter.
