Orem police have arrested a man 57-year-old man accused of propositioning a 17-year-old girl who worked for him.
The West Jordan man, a manager at Joe's Cafe in Orem, offered the girl a job when he found out her hours were being reduced at her job in a nearby business, said police Sgt. Craig Martinez.
Soon after she started, though, the manager began grabbing her inappropriately, offering her money for sex, and once giving her a drink containing alcohol.
After about a week, she reported the abuse. Police arrested the manager Wednesday on suspicion of aggravated exploitation of prostitution, forcible sex abuse and supplying alcohol to a minor.
