BYU has received a commitment from Dylan Collie, a 5-10, 175-pound receiver from Oak Ridge High in El Dorado Hills, Calif., who is the younger brother of former BYU All-American receiver Austin Collie. Dylan Collie made the commitment to BYU coaches on Monday night, according to multiple sources, including Brandon Gurney of Totalbluesports.com Collie will be a senior at Oak Ridge this fall. According to Scout.com, he caught 43 passes for 548 yards and eight touchdowns last season. He will be the fourth Collie to play for the Cougars, joining his father, Scott Collie, and older brothers Zac and Austin — currently a receiver for the Indianapolis Colts. Dylan Collie was receiving interest from several Pac-12 schools before saying Monday night that he is headed BYU's way. He plans to play for the Cougars in 2012, then depart on an LDS Church mission. The Cougars now have seven known commitments for their 2012 signing class. The list includes quarterback Tanner Mangum (Eagle, Idaho), receiver Josh Weeks (Show Low, Ariz.), lineman Zach Lindsay (Davis High), defensive back Rhett Sandlin (Alta High), defensive back Matt Hadley (Connell, Wash.) and Taysom Hill, a quarterback from Pocatello, Idaho, who is currently serving an LDS Church mission.
