Brigham Young University's football commitment list for the class of 2012 grew to 14 on Wednesday night as a pair of Anaheim, Calif., linebackers committed to head coach Bronco Mendenhall.

Both players will be seniors this fall at Servite High.

Butch Pau'u, a 5-foot-11, 215-pound linebacker, pledged to BYU despite having offers from Washington, Iowa State, Nebraska, Colorado and Oregon State. The three-star recruit, according to Scout.com, is one of BYU's top recruits this season.

Pau'u's good friend Jherremya Leuta-Douyere also committed on Wednesday. Leuta-Douyere is considered a late-bloomer who was starting to draw the interest of Nebraska, Colorado and Oregon State, among others.

The prep teammates received offers at BYU's Junior Day earlier this month.

Seven players have now committed to BYU this month, as Leuta-Douyere and Pau'u join Austin Hoyt, Phillip Amone, Bobby Wolford, Steven Richards and Kolton Donovan in saying they will sign with the Cougars next February.
