Two teen girls were hit by a car Monday night while trick-or-treating in West Jordan.

Sgt. Bruce Shepherd with West Jordan police said the girls suffered facial injuries and broken bones. One of them was flown to Primary Children's Medical Center and the other transported to Intermountain Medical Center. The driver was taken to Jordan Valley Hospital, police said.

The girls were hit at about 9 p.m. while crossing a road at 6457 South and Cougar Lane (4800 West). The car was northbound when it hit the girls, police said.
