Two local college football players were named Tuesday to the watch list for the Rimington Trophy, presented annually to the nation's top center.
Utah's Tevita Stevens and Utah State's Tyler Larsen were among the 51 players selected to the watch list. It is Larsen's second year on the watch list.
Stevens moved to center last year after spending his first two seasons at Utah as a starting offensive guard. He has played in all 39 games in three years at Utah, with 36 starts.
Larsen, a junior, has made 25 consecutive starts at center.
The Rimington Trophy winner will be announced at a banquet in Lincoln, Neb., on June 12, 2013.
