Rescuers found two Sandy snowmobilers Sunday morning in the Wasatch County mountains.

County dispatchers were notified at 8:40 p.m. Saturday that friends Tron Black, 47, and Corey Haun, 45, did not arrive at their destination as expected. The pair were in the Timberlakes and Strawberry Valley area, according to a Wasatch County Sheriff's Office news release.

Rescuers searched the trails between Daniels Summit Lodge and Timber Lakes until about 3 a.m. Sunday, but couldn't find them.

"The search was temporarily suspended until [7 a.m.] so the search teams could refuel machines and coordinate detailed plans," the release reads.

When the search resumed, teams from the county and the Utah State Parks searched the Nobletts, Lake Creek, Strawberry River and Co-op Creek trailheads simultaneously. They finally found the overdue men closest to the Timber Lakes area at 10:45 a.m. — cold, but in good health, according to the release.
