Directions • From Interstate 15, exit at 400 North in Bountiful and drive east. Stay on the road for about 3.2 miles as it curves to the south and becomes Bountiful Boulevard. At the LDS Temple begin looking on your left for the parking area marked as Sessions Mountain and Holbrook Canyon Trail. The trail head is next to the parking lot. It is the trail with the gate next to the restrooms. Click here for a map and hiking data.

See a view of the Bountiful Temple, Bountiful and the Great Salt Lake on this hike up the foothills. From the trailhead, follow the gravel path us the hill and then turning north. In just a few minutes, you'll arrive at an overlook with a view of the temple. Continue hiking up the trail and in .85 miles you'll cross a junction. Continue hiking up the hill and you'll pass under some electrical lines and cross markings for a pipeline. You can continue hiking up to the peaks if you wish, but at the 2.11-mile mark, you're at a middle ridge with nice views of the town and the lake. When starting hiking back to the trail head, take that other path at the junction you crossed earlier and you can make the hike a sort-of lasso loop. Destinationmiddle ridge
