This Is the Place Heritage Park began its month-long baby animal season Thursday, giving visitors a chance to pet a goat or hold a fluffy chick.

Visitors were also able to ride ponies, ride the train and do take-home crafts.

Baby Animal Season Kickoff at the park continues through Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. daily. Regular admission is $11. For ages 3-11 and seniors the cost $8 and admission is free for children 2 and under.
