Utah's favorite "Dancing With the Stars" pro may be out for the season.

Pro dancer Derek Hough, five-time champion of the ABC reality show's mirror-ball trophy, has a broken toe on his right foot and sprains in his left ankle, a spokesperson for the dancer told People magazine.

Hough's partner, Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin, is rehearsing this week with pro dancer Sasha Farber. It has not been announced if Farber will replace Hough on next week's episode.

Hough missed a taping for an upcoming "DWTS" anniversary show. Also, Hough's understudy has taken over his role in the "New York Spring Spectactular" at Radio City Music Hall.
