A motorcyclist died Saturday after reportedly driving off the road near Price.

Jamie Sanchez, 54, was driving eastbound on U.S. Route 6 when he crashed. Witnesses say he was speeding, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.

About 8:20 a.m., Sanchez went off the road near mile post 238 and traveled for another 1,000 feet. He was thrown from the motorcycle and died.

Sanchez was not wearing a helmet, according to UHP.
