Plans for tonight: Great Scott! It's a trilogy!

• The Salt Lake Film Society celebrates the 30th anniversary of "Back to the Future" with a marathon screening of all three films at the Tower Theatre, 876 E. 900 South, Salt Lake City. A Delorean will be parked out front for selfies, and a food truck will serve futuristic foods. Party starts at 4:29 p.m.; screening starts at 6. Tickets are $20, at the door.

• Post-hardcore band Escape the Fate headlines a show at In the Venue, 219 S. 600 West, Salt Lake City. Opening: A Skylit Drive, Sworn In, Sirens & Sailors, Myka Relocate, Arsenal of Destruction. Show starts at 6. Tickets are $20, at Smith's Tix.

• Indie folk-rocker Griffin House performs at The State Room, 638 S. State St., Salt Lake City. Opening: John Louviere. Show starts at 8. Tickets are $18, at the venue's website.

• Alt-rock band A Silent Film performs at The Urban Lounge 241 S. 500 East, Salt Lake City. Opening: Flagship. Show starts at 8. Tickets are $15, at 24Tix.

• Scottish synth-pop band Chvrches performs at The Complex, 536 W. 100 South, Salt Lake City. Opening: Mansionair. Show starts at 8. Tickets are $28, at Smith's Tix.

• Dancetronica trio Beats Antique performs at Park City Live, 427 Main St., Park City. Opening: Moon Hooch. Show starts at 9. Tickets, from $27 to $60, at Smith's Tix.
