Salt Lake Bees manager Keith Johnson announced his 2016 coaching staff on Monday.

Erik Bennett will return to Salt Lake as the pitching coach, Tom Tornincasa is the new hitting coach, Brian Reinker returns for his ninth season as trainer and strength and conditioning coach Andrew Chappell joins the club from Double-A Arkansas.

"This is a great group of coaches that I'm excited have with me," Johnson said in a statement. "We're going to do what it takes to get our players better and help them take advantage of opportunities at the next level when they arrive."

Bennett enters his ninth season as the pitching coach for the Bees. The former Major League reliever enjoyed a 10-year professional playing career which included stints with the Los Angeles Angels, Minnesota Twins and Salt Lake Buzz.

Since joining the Bees in 2008, Bennett has helped dozens of pitchers prepare for the major leagues, including Angel starting pitchers Andrew Heaney, Matt Shoemaker and Garrett Richards.

Tornincasa joined the Angels' organization in 2014 after spending 14 years as a coach in the San Diego Padres' organization. The former college shortstop spent the last two seasons in Arkansas. Tornincasa takes over for Johnny Narron, who will serve as the Angels' minor-league hitting coordinator this year
