Police in Midvale have arrested three people in connection with a beating death last month.

George Benally, 43, died Jan. 12, six days after he was found bloody and badly beaten behind a home furnishings store near 7300 South and 900 East

Police announced this morning they have arrested three people.

Rondell Eddie, 19, was arrested on suspicion of first-degree felony homicide. Cory Preston Lee, 22, and Alexis Tallman, 20, were arrested on suspicion of obstruction of justice, tampering with evidence and possession of stolen property.

Police did not know Benally's identity until after he died. In a press release issued this morning, they said leads developed after learning the victim's name.
