Laree Umphrey, 27, died Sunday afternoon, two days after the car she was driving collided with a pickup truck in Salt Lake City, police said Monday.
The driver of the pickup, which was westbound on 2700 South, told police he stopped at 700 East and thought the light turned green and proceeded through the intersection.
His truck was hit by a southbound car, which police believe spun the truck around and into the path of Umphrey's southbound Mustang.
The Mustang collided with the truck, almost head-on, then sideswiped a fourth vehicle and crashed into a pole, police said.
