The FBI is investigating a homicide that occurred early Saturday morning on the Uintah and Ouray Indian Reservation in Utah.

The homicide victim was a 28-year-old man, according to FBI spokeswoman Sandra Barker, and the homicide occurred at a home in Gusher, Uintah County.

One male was in custody on tribal charges, Barker said.

The ongoing investigation is being handled by the FBI and the Bureau of Indian Affairs, she said.
