Employees of Larry H. Miller Sports & Entertainment and members of the Miller family served a traditional Thanksgiving meal Monday to residents in need.

The 18th annual "We Care — We Share" dinner for homeless and low-income individuals, held at Vivint Smart Home Arena, is part of the NBA Cares Season of Giving effort. Last year, nearly 200 volunteers helped provide 3,260 meals, the companies said in a news release.

"For 18 years, our family has been able to pay it forward to our community by providing hot meals to those in need," said Gail Miller, owner of the Larry H. Miller Group of Companies, in the release. "We are fortunate to continue giving back to those experiencing life's hardships."

The dinner was held in collaboration with the Salt Lake City Mission, Utah Food Services and All-Star Catering. The annual gathering included a winter clothing distribution, musical entertainment courtesy of the Salt Lake City Mission and activity packets for children.
