After the inaugural event this summer at Rice-Eccles Stadium, the Nitro World Games will return to Salt Lake City in June 2017.

The action sports competition will again feature FMX, BMX, skate, inline and scooter events and will be televised on NBC on June 24, 2017.

"Progression is what Nitro World Games is all about," event creator and action sports veteran Travis Pastrana said in an event press release. "While I was so pumped to see the riders rise to the challenge this summer and send it with huge new tricks, we are working hard to take things to another level again in 2017."

Tickets go on sale Dec. 9 at 10 a.m., with prices ranging from $19 to $79.
