The nonprofit, online Western Governors University is offering competitive scholarships of up to $1,500 to active National Guard members and reservists. The awards will help citizen soldiers complete bachelor's or master's degrees in business, information technology, teacher education or health care, including nursing.

The Reservist and National Guard Scholarship program provides recipients with $300 per six-month term for a maximum of five terms. Multiple scholarships will be awarded. For more information, visit http://www.wgu.edu/nationalguard or call 1-866-225-5948.
