The reality is that these guys are probably just going to be training camp bodies, and that will be the end of it.But still, there's always a chance that one of the three players RSL selected in the MLS Supplemental Draft on Tuesday will make a big impression and earn a place on the team. Not a great chance, of course. But San Jose's Chris Wondolowski, Chicago's DaSan Robinson and Houston's Brian Ching all started as supplemental picks, so who knows?Besides, it's always interesting to learn a little something about the guys who will be wearing the RSL kit, even if it's only for a few weeks.Goalkeeper Jeff Attinella is probably the most prolific of the three, having starred for the University of South Florida the past two seasons — he was the Big East Conference goalkeeper of the year in 2009, and broke Troy Perkins' school record for shutouts — and enjoyed a brief trial with Orebro FC in Sweden last year. He was on trial with União Desportiva de Leiria in Portugal before attending the MLS Combine in his home state of Florida. RSL made him the 14th pick of the draft."I mean I definitely want to play professionally, but I think every college player has that ambition and, I mean, if it works out great, but if it doesn't, that's fine," Antinella said.Central midfielder Drew Cost of Penn State focused on being more of a two-way player for Penn State last year, rather than such an attack-minded one.And though he wasn't invited to the MLS Combine before RSL used the 32nd pick on him, he did show RSL officials what he could do during a pre-draft camp in Arizona. He said he knows he could wind up on the resurrected reserve squad, but "if that's where I end up then I'll be happy with that as well. It's somewhere where I can try to improve and get better.""I'm real excited to go to a proven team," Cost said. "It might be a little bit tougher to make the squad, but if that's how it has to be, then that's how it has to be."Finally, forward Nick Love played for Gonzaga University last season before RSL chose him with the 50th pick, and was just an honorable mention All-West Coast Conference selection. He was the Bulldogs' top returning scorer, but battled some injuries on a team that endured a miserable 4-15-0 season, winning just one league game and finishing on a seven-game losing streak.
