More than 13,400 central Utah homes and businesses were without electricity Wednesday morning.

Rocky Mountain Power reported the outage, about 10 a.m., affected customers in Sanpete communities of Gunnison, Annabella, Central Valley, Mayfield, Monroe and Sterling.

Repair crews were dispatched, and by noon all affected customers were reported back on the power grid.

The cause of the outage was not immediately known.
