Bald eagles are feeding at Farmington Bay off Glover Lane and it is a sight to behold.

The first group of bald eagles we spotted were sitting on a tree next to a sign that stated "Eagle resting site." Who knew eagles could read? The farther you travel around the bay, the more eagles you see.

At one point, we saw eight eagles eating fish.

Be prepared to see eagles surrounded by bird watchers with expensive cameras who like quiet. It's not a once-in-a-lifetime event because the eagles come to Farmington Bay every year, but it sure is worth the drive to see them.
