Celebrate NYC

Janet Gray Studios presents "Bright Lights, Big City," a concert to celebrate New York City and local and Janet Gray alumni who have successfully made careers there. Among them are Cynthia Fleming, a cast member of "A Chorus Line" in the '70s and current executive producer of Salt Lake Acting Company; Talese Hunt, a touring member of Radio City Music Hall's the The Rockettes; Elyse Niederee, a former student of Gray's who now lives in NYC and completed two dance tours on international cruise ships; and Liz Sanchez, a former Gray student who graduated from the Ailey School of the Alvin Ailey Dance American Dance Theatre in New York.

The concert also will present two local performing groups: Wassalonka, a newly formed African dance troupe directed by Rosie Banchero, and Chance Dance Troupe, a hip-hop education group directed by Andrea Curtis.
