Here's what's being talked about in pop culture:

• Dwayne Johnson is seriously considering running for president — because electing an entertainer with WrestleMania on his resumé and no political experience has been working soooooo well. [The Huffington Post]

• Speaking of outlandish political doings, ABC's "Scandal" will be calling it quits after next year's seventh season. [Entertainment Weekly]

• Character actor Michael Parks has died at the age of 77. Parks' long career stretched from the '60s TV series "Then Came Bronson" and playing Adam in John Huston's "The Bible" to playing a French-Canadian drug runner in "Twin Peaks." More recently, Parks was a favorite of directors Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino (playing the same Texas Ranger character in "From Dusk Till Dawn" and "Kill Bill"), and played the villain in Kevin Smith's "Red State" and "Tusk."
