As first reported by The Salt Lake Tribune, Jimmer Fredette, Chauncey Billups and five Jazzmen are officially scheduled to play in a charity basketball game Nov. 7 at Salt Lake Community College.

Press release: Salt Lake City – With the sad basketball news earlier today that the lockout will continue and that the NBA has canceled an additional two weeks of the season, Pro Player Tours, LLC is pleased to announce a charitable basketball game involving professional basketball players to be held at Salt Lake Community College on November 7, 2011 at 7 p.m.

The game will pit a team of Utah Jazz players against a team of NBA players from around the league. The game will feature former Brigham Young standout Jimmer Fredette, Chauncey Billups, Stephen Curry and Utah Jazz players Al Jefferson, Devin Harris and Paul Millsap. In addition, Corey Maggette, Derrick Favors, Ronnie Price and Anthony Tolliver are set to participate. Additional players, including more players from the Jazz, will be announced Monday. Net proceeds from the game will be distributed among several charities including, but not limited to, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Special Olympics, Ronald McDonald House and the OI Foundation. Tickets will go on sale at all Smith's Tix outlets Monday at 1 p.m.
