Former Jazz forward Andrei Kirilenko has not made a decision about returning to the NBA and is still a member of CSKA Moscow, agent Marc Fleisher told The Salt Lake Tribune on Monday.
Kirilenko plans to remain with CSKA until the NBA's labor situation clears up and details about what is expected be a chaotic free agency period are made concrete.
"He and I have decided to evaluate the NBA interest versus what he has over there and then a decision will be made," Fleisher said.
Kirilenko will be an unrestricted free agent once the lockout ends.
Recent media reports claimed that Kirilenko had already made up his mind about returning to the NBA and had even narrowed down his ideal choice of teams.
"I asked Andrei where all that stuff comes from and he said, 'I have no idea,' " Fleisher said.
Kirilenko, 30, signed a three-year contract with CSKA in October. The deal features an opt-out clause that will allow him to return to the NBA once the lockout is officially over, as well as an opt-out at the end of every CSKA season. All the money he earns while playing for CSKA is being donated to charity.
Kirilenko was selected by the Jazz with the No. 24 overall pick during the 1999 draft. He made the All-Star team in 2004, and averaged 12.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.4 steals during 10 seasons (681 games) with Utah.
