Murray police Sgt. Paul Christiansen said a would-be robber walked up to the drive-through window at the restaurant at 5820 South State about 1 a.m. Tuesday, pounded on the glass while waiving a revolver and demanded employees open the front door for him.
Instead, employees ducked behind the counter as the man described as 6-foot-3, 200 pounds and wearing a black ski mask, gloves and a gray jacket and dark pants ran to the front of the restaurant.
"The manager yelled out to him that they were calling police, "Christiansen said. "The suspect then ran away."
The suspect remained at large late Tuesday.
