The days are getting shorter and shorter, but that won't last for long — as the winter solstice is approaching on Dec. 22.

Utah's own Celtic-fusion band, Stonecircle, marks that astronomical event the same way it has for seven Decembers before — with a concert.

Stonecircle's eighth annual winter solstice concert happens Thursday, Dec. 15, at 7:30 p.m. at the Jeanné Wagner Theatre, 138 W. 300 South, Salt Lake City.

The show is presented by Brolly Arts. Tickets are $15, at ArtTix locations.
