Wayne Gustave, Project Leader at Lake Powell for the UDWR, sent in this report shared a recent Powell angler, Jason Knight.

We shot up Navajo Canyon on Saturday (Feb 4th) and towards the back of the canyon picked up 18 stripers, all very fat and healthy, averaging 3-5 lbs. We caught all of them trolling deep diving cranks and once the school moved under the boat we could jig them up on Wally lure spoons. My Mother, Kathi Knight, caught the jumbo of the trip, 30 inches and 8 lbs. This was only her second trip to Powell and only here 5th striped bass.Jason Knight
