High School Art

The Utah All-State High School Art Show showcases the talent of exceptional student artists throughout the state. The exhibit's 345 works give young artists the experience of showing their artwork in a formal public setting, while introducing patrons to up-and-coming artists. Hundreds of artworks are submitted annually, and only a small percentage are selected for the show.

Among the award winners is Dallin Christopher Orr, who received the director's award for "Trust," a charcoal piece. Artists receiving awards of mastery include Aurora Chi, for "Mother's Dream," a digital-media piece; Alexandra Matthews, for "Black Hole Picnic Number 5," a mixed-media piece; Megan Deon Maurer for "Twisted Seasons," a ceramic work; and Lauren M.
