Video game • Just a couple of years ago, it would have been thought impossible to play a grand adventure game like "Uncharted" on a portable gaming machine. But thanks to the power of the new PlayStation Vita, the system's premiere title, "Uncharted: Golden Abyss," turns that into a reality.

All of the shooting, climbing and engaging storytelling of this Indiana Jones-styled adventure are intact thanks to the Vita's graphics and twin-joystick design. Only a few minor shortcuts were taken, like scaling back on some of the game's more epic moments, but "Golden Abyss" still brings that same sense of fun and surprise from the home console versions to the handheld. If you own a new Vita, this is the first title to buy.
