Park City to host Junior Luge Championships

Park City • The top junior luge racers in the country will be trying to earn Norton Junior National Champions honors Friday and Saturday on the 2002 Olympic track in Park City.

Summer Britcher of Glen Rock, Pa., and Emily Sweeney of Suffield, Conn. lead the women's contingent. Tucker West of Ridgefield, Conn., Ty Anderson of Alpine, and Pat Edmunds of Park City are expected to challenge for the men's titles.

The championships will be decided by four runs over two days. Friday action starts at 11 a.m. while racing begins Saturday at 9 a.m.
