A 37-year-old Davis County man was recovering Wednesday morning after authorities allege he accidentally shot himself in the foot.
Davis County sheriff's deputies said the man was at a home about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday near 4100 South in the county area of Bountiful when he called 911 for help.
Deputies said the man told authorities that he had shot himself in the left foot. He was later transported to a Salt Lake area hospital.
No one else was injured.
Authorities said the investigation into the incident continues.
