Utah business and community leader Douglas C. Black has been appointed chairman of the board of SelectHealth, effective April 14. Black is the former Utah district president for Key Bank. SelectHealth, a subsidiary of Intermountain Health Care, is a nonprofit health insurance organization with members in Utah and Idaho.

Pathway Associates, a Salt Lake City consulting firm providing services to the nonprofit community, announced that Valerie Kittel and April Northstrom have joined the firm. Kittel is a speaker coach, while Northstrom is a grant-writing and prospect research consultant.

Richter7, a Salt Lake City-based advertising and online marketing agency, has hired Michael Rockwood as a production developer. He previously worked for Utah Central Credit Union as a multimedia and marketing assistant.

Utah-based Priority Dispatch Corp. has promoted Aaron Hovatter to the position of quality assurance lead. He previously served as a technical support representative. Michael Long has been promoted to lead support representative. He had served as a technical support representative for eight years.

Physician Group of Utah has announced that Dr. Andrew Coles and Dr. Catherine Coles have joined Davis Internal Medicine in Layton.

A Utah native, Andrew Coles received his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine. His areas of special interest are endocrinology, including diabetes and hormone deficiency; medical and interventional chronic pain management; and arthritis treatment.

After medical school at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, Catherine Coles completed an internship and residency in anesthesiology at Washington University in St. Louis. She then completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Utah Hospital.

InQuo, a South Salt Lake City company that provides computer support to businesses and home computer users, has announced that Cody McCallister has been promoted to a full-time position as a computer network technician. He recently earned an associate in science degree in computer science with a networking emphasis from Stevens Henager College.

FOCUS Engineering & Surveying, a Sandy-based civil engineering and land surveying firm, has announced that Jason Barker has accepted a position as a senior CAD designer/project manager. He has more than 12 years of experience in designing residential and commercial developments.

Holland & Hart has announced that three attorneys from its Salt Lake City office are new partners. Mark Miller specializes in intellectual property litigation, Sherilyn Olsen in bankruptcy law and Bryan Pratt in intellectual property law.

Gemstone Hotels & Resorts has appointed Erick Clark to oversee its three Utah properties — The Sky Lodge in Park City, and the Homestead and Zermatt resorts in Midway.

Park City's Mike Levinthal was recently presented with the Legends in Venture Capital Award at the annual Investors Choice Venture Capital Conference, which was hosted by Zions Bank, the Wayne Brown Institute and VentureCapital.Org. He has more than 30 years of experience in the field. Among his Utah investments are Altiris, Orobrush, Raidiate Media, Domain Surgical and Zinch.
