A source close to Josh Howard told The Salt Lake Tribune on Wednesday afternoon the Jazz small forward has been informed he'll remain with Utah through the NBA trade deadline.

Yahoo! Sports reported Tuesday that Howard has drawn recent interest from San Antonio, New York, Boston and the Los Angeles Lakers, but the Jazz weren't willing to move him.

Howard signed a one-year deal with Utah before the 2011-12 season. He recently told The Tribune he'll give the Jazz full consideration this summer as an unrestricted free agent.Brian T. SmithTwitter: @tribjazz
