Enjoy the unseasonably warm temperatures while you can because by the end of the weekend winter will make another appearance in the state.
But for now, the weather Thursday was expected to be downright pleasant throughout the state with temperatures in northern Utah reaching nearly 70 degrees and sunshine expected. It was expected to be even warmer in St. George, topping out at 75.
The pleasant weather was expected to vanish late Saturday into early Sunday as a cold front sweeps across the state bringing with it chilly temperatures and precipitation. Come Sunday, there is a 70 percent chance of snow in northern and parts of southern Utah. Chances of snow were expected to linger into Monday.
