Bob SagetSpotlight show • If all you know about Bob Saget is the painfully earnest father on "Full House" and the chronically unfunny host of "America's Funniest Home Videos," you haven't kept up with the 55-year-old. Saget was a revelation to many in the cult film "The Aristocrats" and on Comedy Central's roasts when he was shown as a filthy comic. In a Tribune interview, Saget said what he finds funny is "silly, irreverent" material that can make some people uncomfortable. "My act is like throwing a surfboard and going out there," he said. Many Utahns remember him when he hosted several nights of the medals ceremonies at the 2002 Winter Olympics. The only reason he kept it clean then was that "I don't curse when kids are around." (We should check with the Olsen twins about that one.) He's now preparing his next comedy special, which he will record later this year. His material isn't as dirty as you might think. He claims his act would be classified as a "soft R," and he's not a "gross-out person." "I want every show to be memorable."When • Friday, March 23, and Saturday, March 24, at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.Where • Wiseguys West Valley City, 2194 W. 3500 South, West Valley CityTickets • $25 at wiseguyscomedy.com
