The Bureau of Land Management wants to know who vandalized a cave in Box Elder County.

Someone broke through a gate, entered Crystal Cave and caused what a BLM press release calls "resource damage" to the cave. The BLM says the vandalism happened between April 2011 and February of this year.

The BLM is offering a $1,000 reward. Anyone with information can call 801-977-4300.

Crystal Cave is managed by the BLM to preserve sensitive cave formations and bat habitat. Visitors need a permit to enter.
