Def Leppard and Poison will perform at Usana Amphitheatre on June 20, and tickets will go on sale on Friday, April 6, at 10 a.m. at all SmithsTix outlets.

Prices range from $35 to $100, not counting service charges.

Lita Ford, 53, the lead guitarist for the Runaways, will open. Many will remember her for her 1988 duet with Ozzy Osbourne, "Close My Eyes Forever." I was young at the time, and it was only years later that I learned that the song was about suicide.

Def Leppard was one of my faves back in junior high, and for one reason or another, I have always missed them when they have come to town (which they do frequently). I am determined to not let that happen again.
