A 57-year-old paraglider crashed Tuesday evening into landscaping rocks behind a Draper home.
Unified Fire Authority Capt. Lee Ascarte said that at about 5:30 p.m., the man's glider stalled about 100 feet up at 9 E. Manilla Circle (15200 South).
The man wasn't quite in a free-fall, but began a faster, but "somewhat controlled" descent to the ground, Ascarte said. He landed on some large rocks behind a home and was unconscious. After medical teams arrived and began treating him he regained consciousness, Ascarte said.
