Hollister, Calif. • The BYU men's golf team finished third at the West Coast Conference championships Wednesday with a 2-over-par 866.

The Cougars were 22 strokes behind champion Saint Mary's (844), while second-place finisher San Francisco was nine behind, at 853.

Zac Blair (5-under 211), a junior, was BYU's top performer, finishing in a tie for fourth.

Hanny Stanislaus Invitational • In Turlock, Calif., the Dixie State men's golf team shot a final round score of 306 to finish in 10th place with a score of 893 on Tuesday.

Host school CSU Stanislaus shot 845. Western Washington finished at 868, and Chico State 872.

Men's tennis

Idaho State 4, Utah State 3 • USU ended its home season Wednesday with a loss to Idaho State in Logan.

In doubles play, the Aggies were swept by the Bengals.

In the singles competition, the final score came down to a match between USU's Brandon Nielsen and ISU's Andres Coello. The match went to a third set and then ended in a tie-breaker (6-2, 5-7, 7-6 [13-11].

The Aggies fell to 5-12. The Bengals are 8-11.

Women's tennis

Dixie State 9, Notre Dame de Namur 0 • The Red Storm swept all of the doubles and singles matches. Krista Anderson beat Rebecca Corteza 6-3, 6-1 in No. 1 singles.

The PacWest Championships begin Thursday in San Rafael, Calif.
