ReMix Vocal Academy (www.remixvocalacademy.com) is a new vocal camp inspired by the experience of the BYU vocal group Vocal Point while they were participating on "The Sing-Off" last fall on NBC.

ReMix is a week-long vocal camp was founded by members and directors of Vocal Point with the vision of "providing an intensive vocal and performance experience to singers wanting to take their talent to the next level," according to the group.

Having learned at the feet of Ben Folds, Sara Barellies, Shawn Stockman and others, the group was exposed to so much musical knowledge. For this reason, they created the ReMix Vocal Academy. In addition to stars from "The Sing-Off" Season 3 (Vocal Point, Delilah, and Kinfolk 9), instructors at ReMix will include Dean Kaelin (vocal coach of David Archuleta), Sam Cardon (Emmy-award winning composer and producer), Bob Ahlander (GM of Shadow Mountain Records/Deseret Book), and a host of other all-star musicians.

The camp will be held right here in Utah, July 9-14, at the Covey Center for the Arts.
