Fire crews have fully contained a blaze burning in Beaver County.

The Bell 47 fire started about 6 p.m. Saturday and scorched about 62 acres just south of Minersville Reservoir.

The blaze threatened one home and three outbuildings but hasn't caused any structural property damage or injuries, said Mike Melton, fire management officer for the Utah Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands.

The cause was not known. Melton urged the public to use caution in all backcountry activities, as fire danger remains extreme.
