Amano Artisan Chocolate in Orem recently closed its factory store in Orem sending Utah chocolote lovers into a panic.

But owner Art Pollard said he is scouting for a new location with higher visibility to sell his award-winning chocolate bars. Pollard is hoping to find a place that has more drive-by traffic than the current industrial location at 450 S. 1325 West.

"Rumors of our demise have been greatly exagerrated," he said. But they have been good for business - one area Harmon's store sold out of Amano chocolate, he said.

Even though the Factory store has closed, Amano still is available online at amanochocolate.com and at numerous specialty food stores around the state including Caputo's Market and Deli.
