An Ogden family was displaced Tuesday when a fire destroyed their two-story home.

The fire was reported at about 3:40 p.m. at 470 S. Hiland Road.

The home sustained heavy fire damage, said Deputy Fire Chief Eric Bauman, who estimated the loss at about $80,000.

The Red Cross was assisting the family.

One person was treated for minor injuries associated with the fire, but not transported to a hospital.
