Thunderstorms and rain will affect Utah statewide on Friday and are likely to continue through Sunday.

The National Weather Service is calling for rain Friday with chances of showers Saturday and Sunday.

The rain won't do much to cool temperatures. The weather service is calling for high temperatures in the mid-90s Friday in Salt Lake City and 100 in St. George.
